The Great North Passion

Broadcast live on BBC 1 on Good Friday 2014, The Great North Passion focused on the community of South Shields and surrounding areas in the retelling of the story of the great north passion1Passion. Twelve artists worked with communities in the North East to create themed art works housed in shipping containers which were arranged to form a giant cross. The programme was produced in partnership with the Cultural Spring.
